People today are getting more and more dental problems. Along with that they are also concerned about their looks too. After all a smile can impart an impression on a person. So to keep that dazzling smile active on their face they try to keep their teeth as white as they can. For this purpose teeth whitening processes are available in the market today. Dentists all over the world have been specializing in this technique and now being referred as cosmetic dentists. A cosmetic dentist is a person who helps the patient to whiten his teeth.
There are two types of teeth whitening processes. The first one is non-vital or bleach based teeth whitening technique. If a person has undergone a root canal or has dental work done to his roots then this process is not suitable for him because this includes bleach which would directly contact the roots of the teeth and damage them with its effects. Chemical containing bleach is filled onto the teeth which whitens the teeth. The results are shown in a day or two. The other type called vital or non bleach based teeth whitening process includes a chemical which does not contain bleach in it is applied to the teeth and eventually helps in its whitening.
