Health tips for students are necessary these days. Students face a very stressful lifestyle everyday with so much work and hardly any exercise. Experts have given health tips for them citing obesity as the main problem.
Jenny Eskander, a senior in the College of Health and Human Sciences and a Group-X instructor, says exercise can be competitive because students lack motivation these days. She says, "Be competitive with your friends; see who can be more active, and keep logs of things you do activity-wise." Most people get motivated for a short time. One of the very important health tips for students is that whenever you feel like having junk food, go for a run because the endorphins released by the brain will put you in a better mood and lessen cravings.
Other important health tips include putting a book between the knees to help improve posture, and you do not have to avoid junk food altogether. Walking to restaurants is one of the good health tips recommended; alcohol and beverages contain a lot of calories so all that can be burned.
